1. The present terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to the giveaway organized, administered and performed by Woli Services LTD, with registered office is at Mnasiadou & Strasikratous 10, Elma House, 2nd Floor, 1065 Nicosia, Cyprus (“Woli”). The prizes of the Giveaway will be annual membership to Woli and books from Patakis Publications.
2. Unless otherwise provided herein, the definitions provided in the Woli Terms and Conditions will also apply to the present Terms and Conditions.
3. Participation in the giveaway implies that participants agree to all Terms and conditions of the contest. Participants in the competition must provide their name, surname and email address by 15/9 at the latest.
4. Employees of Woli and Patakis Publications are not eligible to participate in the Giveways.
5. All participants must reside in Greece
6. The winners of the draw will be selected with the use of a random number generator among the eligible participations according to clauses 3. Only one entry per participant will be accepted.
7. Woli may announce the name and surname of the winner in the Woli App or in Woli’s social media and Patakis Publications may share this in social media.
8. The winners of the draw will be notified by Woli by email, using the details provided by the participant when submitting their details on the competition form. If the winner is situated in Athens area he will be requested to receive his present in Patakis Bookstore, Akadimias street 65. In any other case s/he will receive the present via courier company.
9. In case Woli is unable to contact the winner within five (5) days following the date of the draw, the winner forfeits its right to the Giveaway prize and Woli reserves the right draw a new winner from the remaining eligible entries or cancel the Giveaway.
10. Woli as data controller will process the name, surname and address of the participants in the Giveaway only for the purpose of organizing and performing a Giveaway, for delivering the prize to the winners and for other marketing initiatives planned by Woli and their marketing partners. Woli may disclose the personal data to third companies, such as Patakis Publications (for those participants who have given their consent for subscription to their newsletter and for the winners), the company that owns the random number generator or the courier companies that will deliver the prize (if any). The name and surname of the winner may be announced by Woli as provided in clause 9. The personal data of the entrants to each Giveaway will be retained for 3 months following the draw. The personal data of the winners will be retained for 6 months following the draw, unless Woli is obliged to retain such data for a longer period for complying with tax or regulatory obligations or unless the name and the surname of the winner have been announced by Woli according to clause 8. The processing of the personal data is based on the consent provided by the data subjects when they accept the present Terms and Conditions. A data subject may withdraw their consent at any time by e-mailing Woli at any time by sending an e-mail to compliance@Woli.io . In this case the data subject will be no longer eligible to participate in the Giveaway. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. The data subjects also have the rights provided in the Woli Privacy Policy.
11. If Woli believes that a participation to a Giveway violates these Τerms and Conditions, it reserves the right to reject the participation at its discretion.
12. To the extent permitted under the applicable legislation, Woli will not be liable to any participant (whether as a result of contract law, tort, statutory duty or otherwise) for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with a participation to the Giveway or the cancellation, suspension or termination of the Giveaway in respect of losses:
1. that were unforeseeable,
2. that are related to loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or injury to reputation,
3. that are suffered by third parties,
4. that are due to the participant’s fault, for example if the participant has provided incorrect information to Woli or failed to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
13. Woli reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate, or temporarily suspend the Giveaway at any time and entrants may not claim any damages for such an event or request the continuation of the Giveaway.
14. Woli reserves the right to amend the present Terms and Conditions at any time. The participants will be informed of the amendment via woli and in case they don’t accept the amended Terms and Conditions, they shall withdraw their consent by e-mailing Woli at compliance@Woli.io within 5 days after they are informed of the amendment.
15. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which are beyond the reasonable control of Woli and which prevents Woli from complying with these Terms and Conditions, Woli will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.
16. If any of the clauses of the present Terms and Conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
17. The Giveaway, these Terms and Conditions, and any disputes arising therefrom, shall be subject to Greek law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens.
