The Savings Book is in simple words a book or notebook – or even any type of paper – where you record each time in an organized way the money that you deposit in the place you save. In this practical article we will help you easily create your own Savings Book so that you are able to record and be in control of your savings efforts. Thus, you will know at any time how your effort progresses while you will gain the ability to constantly improve.
As it is well known, your Woli app already has all your deposits recorded in a very smart and helpful way. In addition to this, you can also draft your personal Savings Book. More specifically, you won’t need anything more than an empty small notebook or an old agenda or even a few sliding sheets of paper. First, with a ruler you can draw on each page three (3) straight vertical lines to create three (3) new columns / categories and then a horizontal line on top where the titles of each column / category will be listed. Then, in the title of the first column you write the word “Date”, where underneath you will record each time the date you deposited money in the place you usually save. In the second column you will write the word “Deposit”, where the amount of money you are putting in will be noted. Then, in the title of the third column, write the word “Total” to record and know each time the total amount you have collected.
Finally, a good idea is to also note down the Saving Goals in some part of the same book, as well as the amount you need to achieve them. An additional advice is to also make drawings, put stickers and do anything else that expresses you, so that your savings effort becomes an even more pleasant and personal process. On the other hand, if you prefer to be digital, you can set your Saving Goals directly into Woli!
